In this seminar we will look at the role of nutrition in the development of established (and novel) risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD), consider whole diet approaches such as Mediterranean, DASH, low-carb and plant-based diet patterns in primary and secondary prevention, and use real cases to help attendees see how changes to lifestyle fit with the medical management of these conditions.  This seminar is ideal for anyone who works in CVD and/or cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest UK Annual Conference

As the number of people who survive a cardiac arrest increases, there are more survivors who need support and rehabilitation related to the hypoxic brain injury, the trauma of the event and psychological consequences, many of them will be seen in cardiac rehabilitation. Hence, we thought this event might be of interest to your membership.
